OmniGuard/Enterprise Access Control (EAC) is part of AXENT Technologies'suite of software tools that protects information assets across multipletypes of client-server environments. It is an add-on security modulethat provides network-wide user administration, and augments nativesystems and data access control functions. Using OmniGuard/EAC'sintuitive graphical interface, an administrator can add users to anysystem on the network and define their system and data access rights.OmniGuard/EAC can restrict access to the system by time of day or day ofthe week, and restrict the number of concurrent sessions a user can have,as well as the locations from which they can log on. Additional featuresinclude controlling internal and external network access and theprotection of unattended workstations.
